ABOUT THE ROLE
As an Instructional Designer you will:
- Design and create interactive e-learning modules and courses using all available company tools
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to analyse training needs and define learning objectives
- Utilise instructional design principles and adult learning theories to create impactful, learner-centric experiences
- Develop multimedia-rich content including simulations, quizzes, scenarios, and other interactive elements
- Create end-to-end design (course or curriculum outline) of various learning products (instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, elearning, etc.)
- Script training content. Document changes or revisions and meet with subject matter experts (Team lead, manager etc of the chosen area) to validate changes. Meet with the training delivery owner to discuss trainer selection, Train The Trainer schedule, and certification criteria (if needed)
- Meet with the training delivery owner to discuss the implementation phase (initial test launch, gathering of feedback data and iteration loop)
- Design visually appealing course layouts, ensuring ease of navigation and optimal user experience
- Test, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in developed e-learning content
- Conduct post-launch evaluations of learning materials to identify areas of improvement based on learner feedback and performance data
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a talented Instructional Designer with demonstrated expertise in creating interactive, engaging e-learning experiences using Articulate, Canva, Adobe, Photoshop, Google Slides and PowerPoint. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement learning content that drives engagement and supports learning objectives. You will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex concepts into effective and visually appealing learning solutions.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Native German language skills
- Excellent verbal and written English language skills
- Ability to use industry tools like GSuite, MS Office, Articulate and Jira
- You are always on the lookout for recurring issues and help create new training initiative to support the success of your team
- Strong organisational skills
- Have the ability to create and enhance effective course outlines from Design Documents or Policy/Process or build one from scratch
- Meet with stakeholders and subject matter experts as required by the project to gain more insights on the content, delivery, performance, etc.
- Develop required materials as stipulated in the project’s statement of work (classroom training, virtual training, self-paced, or e-learning courses)
- Experience working for the finance industry, or a previous relevant KYX experience is considered as advantage
- Experience in writing and conducting training both virtually and face to face
- An understanding of effective teaching methodologies & tools, as well as solid understanding of instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and e-learning best practices
