GA-CCRi is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to create effective technical documentation and high-quality training materials for our enterprise-wide software applications. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, developers, and end-users to ensure the accuracy, effectiveness, and usability of all documentation and training materials. Duties and Responsibilities
- Create comprehensive documentation and training materials to support end-users and internal team members in the deployment and use of enterprise software applications.
- Work closely with software developers, engineers, and other subject matter experts to gather information, understand technical concepts, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of documentation for current, new, and changing product features and functionality.
- Create user documentation, user guides, videos, FAQs, infographics, job aids, and software embedded help.
- Apply instructional design principles to develop engaging and effective training that addresses the learning needs of diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical users.
- Design and develop classroom training, online training, e-learning, videos, and self-paced courseware.
- Gather customer feedback on documentation and training to improve usability and effectiveness.
- Continuously review and update training and documentation materials to ensure they remain relevant, accurate, and aligned with the latest software features and industry standards.
- Support training sessions, workshops, and webinars for customers, ensuring high levels of engagement and comprehension.
- Communicate effectively with domain experts, users, and management throughout the development lifecycle, serving as a key contact for instructional and documentation matters.
- Assist in planning, scheduling, tracking, and project managing documentation and training to meet product release dates and client deliverables.
- Maintain the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company. Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility, and willing to take a CI polygraph.
- Typically requires a Bachelors or Masters degree in Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology or a related discipline and 3 or more years of related experience. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
- Ability to extract and translate detailed technical information into effective user documentation and effective learning products.
- Ability to create videos, infographics, or interactive content that support various learning styles.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles, methodologies, and adult learning theories.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Understanding of how users interact with documentation and training materials, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and engagement.
- A solid foundation and experience in instructional design, best practice adult learning theory, technical writing, and a desire to continue learning.
- User-facing documentation and training experience in creating user guides, instructor guides, training videos, tutorials, job aids, e-learning, instructor-led, and blended courseware.
- Experience implementing learning evaluation strategies.
- Ability and willingness to adapt existing skillsets and acquire new skillsets as GA-CCRi needs evolve.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Candidates with an active Top Secret security clearance and SCI eligibility are strongly preferred.
- Experience documenting processes and training materials that meet industry-specific regulations and compliance standards, such as government sectors.
- Familiar with platforms like SharePoint other CMSs for organizing and distributing documentation and training content.
- Familiar with software development documentation practices and tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiar with Confluence, or Microsoft Word for professional documentation, and Git for version control.
- Working knowledge of HTML and Sphinx.
- Experience using Camtasia or similar video production software.
- Familiar with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
