As an Instructional Designer at Bezos Academy, you will support the creation and delivery of professional learning experiences for the staff our growing network of tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools. All children deserve the great start that an excellent preschool provides, and Bezos Academy aims to nurture the potential in every child to become a creative leader, original thinker, and lifelong learner by increasing access to early childhood education in under-resourced communities. To support this mission, our training programs develop teachers and leaders who will work together to ensure high-quality classroom environments where the child always comes first.
In this role, you will deliver one-of-a-kind digital and in-person professional learning to develop our teachers and remove barriers to successful early childhood teaching careers. You will start by supporting our nine-month Montessori Credential Program for teachers, and then expand to programs that support additional roles and levels across the organization. You will work closely with Montessori experts, instructors, product managers, media producers, software developers, and leaders across teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to unite your passion for learning experience design, mission-driven work, and innovation. You thrive in a dynamic environment, build relationships easily, meet your deadlines, and take pride in maintaining incredibly high standards. You will leverage your ability to design and deliver effective and engaging learning solutions, drawing on your experience designing online training for adult learners. Your success in this role will enable hundreds of learners per year to be trained in concurrent programs. We will measure our accomplishments through classroom and student impact, with a keen eye towards data and continuous improvement.
Above all, you are inspired by our mission to expand access to early childhood education in under-resourced communities nationwide. You are eager to explore the space where technology and teacher learning converge. Joining our team presents an unprecedented opportunity to impact our nation’s children for generations to come.
