Instructional Aide

We are in search of multiple full-time instructional aides to join our growing team for the 2024-25 school year. Aides will work full-time at a Philadelphia non-public elementary school. Their work schedule will follow the school schedule and calendar.
The instructional aide will be responsible for working with one or more students to deliver instruction and support. This role will provide teaching support in Philadelphia non-public elementary schools to accommodate social distancing and coverage for classrooms to avoid interruptions in instruction and lessen any further gaps in student learning. Every child deserves to reach their full potential and we are looking to hire an exceptional instructor who will play an essential role in fueling student success.
How you’ll be there for students:
Be their advocate, shining star, and mentor.
- Understand and acclimate to the various teachers’ routines in order to provide classroom coverage.
- Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of material or skill initially introduced by the Teacher.
- Assist with maintaining records of students’ daily progress in accordance with school’s management system.
- Assist with parent communication.
- Support and document students’ growth and progress towards academic goals.
- Supervise students and ensure they are always monitored, including to and from appropriate locations within the school.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe academic learning environment for the student.
- Assist other staff with students when needed, when applicable.
- Other duties may be assigned.

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications.
- High School Diploma required.
- College experience and/or Bachelors Degree preferred.
- Experience working with students.
