Functions
You will:
- Manage relations with authorities: Serve as the primary liaison with governmental and institutional partners in France and Switzerland, ensuring alignment with FCC project goals;
- Act as strategic advisor to Management, supporting high-level committees and decision-making;
- Facilitate working groups: Set up and support technical and administrative groups with host state institutions, ensuring smooth collaboration;
- Oversee regulatory processes: Collaborate with authorities to streamline administrative procedures and secure necessary authorizations for the FCC project;
- Engage local stakeholders: Lead dialogue with regional representatives and organize public information sessions to ensure community involvement;
- Provide legal and policy expertise: Advise on public law, especially civil and environmental law, ensuring regulatory compliance;
- Draft official documents: Prepare official reports, communications, and legal documents related to the project;
- Ensure diplomatic protocol: maintain diplomatic etiquette in all engagements with authorities and institutional partners.
Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of public/administrative law, international relations, public administration or a related field.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in managing international and multilateral relations, with a track record of success;
- Proven ability to lead complex projects, creating and adapting frameworks for unique challenges;
- Strong engagement with authorities and senior officials, including local and national representatives;
- Experience in drafting official documents, memos, and speaking notes, ensuring smooth approval processes and follow-up.
Technical competencies:
- Stakeholder relationship management;
- Drafting and writing of official documents;
- Knowledge of International Administrative Law (law of the International Civil Service): knowledge appreciated of civil procedure and environmental law;
- Diplomatic and ceremonial protocol and etiquette;
- Use of office software packages.

Language skills:
- Excellent spoken and written French and English: ability to understand and speak both languages in professional contexts as well as the ability to draft texts for publications, official communications and to make oral presentations in both languages.
- Excellent command of French in the context of international relations, public and/or diplomatic settings is a must.
