Inspection Manager - GTA

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Service Sales team to establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and qualified potential customers for service agreement, renovation orders, and upgrades.
  • Manages customer relationships and facilitates the provision of excellent customer service and company image.
  • Explain deficiencies, go over reporting with the customer and ensures the customer is satisfied.
  • Owns P&L responsibilities for Inspection and is accountable to drive and sustain growth and profitability.
  • Ensures the success of the sales team by monitoring, training and reviewing staff performance effectively.
  • Acts as a liaison between the inspections department, the branch and other teams.
  • Oversees and maintains IMA renewal program with Salespeople. 
  • Ensures inspection commitments are fulfilled and on time for Inspection intervals. 
  • Recruits for talent and provides guidance and leadership towards the achievement of established sales and profitability goals.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies and works individually with staff members on developing relevant sales skills.
  • Develops and administers Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the department.
  • Post-secondary Degree/Diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, or Sales is required.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with CAN/ULCS536 and NFPA25 regulations for inspections of life safety systems.
  • Good technical skills and the ability to work both strategically and tactically to achieve regional objectives.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop sales representatives to become high performers.
  • Experience working with all professional levels: Consultants, Electrical Contractors, and Distributors within the Alarm Industry is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of PC-based applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce.com).            
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
