In 2021, Samsung announced a new facility in Taylor, Texas, where it plans to invest a minimum $17 billion in the build-out. The site spans 1,200+ acres and the first phase of development will have 4.7 million square feet of floor space consisting of a cluster of semiconductor manufacturing buildings such as a fab, office, parking garage, central utility building, and special utility supply facilities. The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance computing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

Support, coordinate, and manage administrative needs of AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) on T-PJT.

Specific Job Duties:

 

Coordinate and gather schedule material to be presented to the City of Taylor on a weekly basis (TCO Meeting)

Create and distribute weekly report to the Authorities Having Juridiction (CoT, TFD, Wilco)

Gather actual units completed from various project sources and provide weekly update to team KPI trackers

Document and distribute meeting minutes from meetings with government officials

Create weekly team meeting presentation (update "get to know your teammate", RFI log, DCN Log, weather forecast, three week look ahead, etc. slides)

Regularly meet with City inspectors and help communicate their needs and requests to stakeholders (badges, access requests, various complaints or requests from Eric)

Coordinate site tours with government officials or other Public Relations tour requests

Distribute and save contractor reports to the team and project folders

Keep team org chart up-to-date and communicate any changes

Keep project contact list up-to-date and communicate and changes

Track accountability and compile data for weekly executive meeting presentations

Maintain the CoC program: communicate CoC letter needs to EORs, gather letters and documents for review, complete submittal onto Newforma, track response time, and document reponses for proof of compliance

Regularly check Williamson County project web-site and communicate any relevant data to the team.

Skills and Qualifications:

Education, Training, Certification(s) and Minimum years of experience required

 

1-3years of administrative experience on a construction site

Experience with scheduling inspections and tracking results

Background in document control or contract administration a plus

  

 

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Software, and Tools

 

able to work in high pressure, fast paced environment and be adaptable

motivated, organized, and presents a helpful positive attitude to project stakeholders

high proficiency in MS Excel, Power Point and Word

able to actively listen and take notes for meeting minutes

able to effectively communicate with peers, contractors, and other stakeholders
