About the Role

Our Insights team is transforming the way investors, corporates and consultancies obtain curated knowledge to inform business strategy.

Working on-demand and side by side to our expert interviews and survey offerings, our Insights team delivers tailored solutions to a sophisticated global client base. Whether we are helping a private equity firm conduct voice of customer research on a target software company, or supporting a business services corporate prioritise their bolt-on acquisition pipeline, you will utilise the power of the Dialectica service offering to help answer our clients most pressing strategic business problems.

The Insights team is experiencing strong growth, resulting in opportunities for talented and ambitious individuals excited to develop their commercial acumen, strategic thinking, analytical skills and client service capabilities.

Working in a multinational, fast-moving and innovative environment, you will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibilities on challenging projects, gain exposure to the most interesting sectors of the global economy and drive investment decisions for mid-market / growth private equity and corporate clients.

What you will do

  • Project delivery: Playing a key role in end to end project delivery; developing expert discussion guides and surveys based on client needs. Working with Client Service Team colleagues on expert engagement and then leading insights generation by conducting expert interviews and overseeing survey fielding. You will then summarise your insights into client ready deliverables in collaboration with senior members of the team, involving quantitative analysis and synthesising qualitative information.
  • Business development: Contribute in all aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and attending meetings with clients to help showcase work. Working in an environment operating under tight timeframes and demands, in a large-scale multi-national environment..
  • Content & Practice Development: Contributing to content and practice development in the Insights team. For example marketing materials, sector expertise initiatives etc.

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • ‌Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience in producing and reviewing high calibre presentations and thought leadership
  • Strong numerical skills, with experience in excel analysis and modelling , and the ability to understand the implications of findings in relation to client strategy
  • Professional services / consulting / research experience (commercial due diligence and customer referencing experience highly valued)
  • Strong team participation skills, particularly teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, coupled with the ability to coach and mentor others (managing project team members highly valued for Senior Associate level)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to innovate and help shape products for clients
  • Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
  • Professionalism and consistency in approach to client work, internal business and practice development
