As an Insights Associate in the Finance vertical at Sensor Tower, you will be an integral part of the insights team, helping to drive the creation and publication of customer-facing research into the global app and digital advertising ecosystem and serving as a liaison between ST and the press and between the insights team and other internal teams, including sales, product, data science and marketing. Leveraging our wealth of quantitative data, you will identify emerging trends and opportunities within the market to write research that helps our clients make informed business decisions.
The ultimate responsibility for this position will be to provide meaningful and actionable insights to drive business growth for customers and prospects. Further, this position will serve as an integral link between Sensor Tower insights and the presentation of our data externally both to the media and prospective customers. This is the ideal position for an analyst who seeks to work with large and extensive datasets in an exciting, rapidly growing, and ever-evolving market, but also has an interest in the dissemination of those insights. Additionally, the analyst should be excited to follow industry trends, whether they be retail, mobile gaming, the macroeconomic environment more generally or advertising.
Please note: This is remote, but we are hiring specifically in the New York area because this is a big employee hubs for us. We have office space available for work collaboration and team building events. Business partners within these geographical regions are involved with agency relationships and customer interactions.
Base salary: $90,000-$100,000
What the Insights Associate will do:
- Analyze large, extensive data sets to derive trends in the mobile app and advertising space to identify compelling and actionable insights for current and prospective customers
- Become an expert and talk in-depth on all of the Sensor Tower products
- Liaise with PR team/press and marketing team to facilitate the dissemination of insights externally including ensuring the creation of blog and social media posts and be an integral part of the creation of insights on the website
- Work closely with the insights team on preparation of presentations for webinars, podcasts, etc., as well as dissemination of content (via blog, social media, etc.)
- Research and stay up to date on latest financial news for companies and sectors with significant exposure to the mobile app space
- Work closely with leaders of our various functional teams to identify their immediate ad-hoc data insight needs
Experience the candidate can bring:
- 1-2+ years of work experience, including analytical experience
- A passion for data analysis and presentation of data insights (an interest in the desire to build knowledge in the mobile app and advertising spaces as it relates to business and finance)
- Comfortability in pulling and analyzing large sets of data with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Self-starting attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills and an eye for detail
- Hunger to grow and learn while being a true team player
- Ability to keep up in a quickly-changing environment
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience or education in finance and/or business
