About the Role

Our Insights team is transforming the way investors, corporates and consultancies obtain curated knowledge to inform business strategy.

Working on-demand and side by side to our expert interviews and survey offerings, our Insights team delivers tailored solutions to a sophisticated global client base. Whether we are helping a private equity firm prioritise their deal pipeline or supporting a technology corporate conduct voice of customer research for their game changing new product, in the Dialectica Insights team you will utilise the power of the Dialectica service offering to help answer our clients most pressing strategic business problems.

The Insights team is experiencing strong growth, resulting in opportunities for talented and ambitious individuals excited to develop their commercial acumen, strategic thinking, analytical skills and client service capabilities.

Working in a multinational, fast-moving and innovative environment, you will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibilities on challenging projects, gain exposure to the most interesting sectors of the global economy and drive impact for a roster of blue chip global clients.

As a member of our Insights team you will use your intellectual guile and enthusiasm to apply your technical skills across a spectrum of services including private equity transactions and corporate intelligence.

Indicative responsibilities include:

- Project delivery

Playing a key role in end to end project delivery; developing expert discussion guides and surveys based on client needs. Working with Client Service Team colleagues on expert engagement and then leading insights generation by conducting expert interviews and overseeing survey fielding. You will then summarise your insights into client ready deliverables in collaboration with senior members of the team.

- Business development

Contribute in all aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations, and attending meetings with clients to help sell work and work in an environment operating under tight timeframes and demands and be familiar working in a large-scale multi-national environment or equivalent role.

- Content & Practice Development

Contributing to content and practice development in the Insights team. For example marketing materials, sector expertise initiatives etc.

Requirements

The ideal candidate would possess:

  • ‌Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in producing and reviewing high calibre reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership
  • A track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors
  • Professional services / consulting / research experience (transactions experience highly valued)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to link analysis to financial impact, and understand the implications of findings to client strategy
  • Strong team participation skills, particularly teams with diverse skills and backgrounds, coupled with the ability to coach and mentor others
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas
  • Professionalism and consistency in approach to client work, internal business and practice development
