Position Summary: 
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a remote position reporting to the Director of Inside Sales in the Clinical Services Division that sells NeoGenomics’ full portfolio of oncology diagnostic testing services to current Tier D customers, as well as prospective customers. ISRs are responsible for contacting current customers or prospects via phone, email or teleconferencing to present NeoGenomics’ oncology diagnostic testing capabilities. The ISR is responsible for identifying new opportunities through cold calling, attending trade shows or through mailing lists. The ISR will be working primarily with a provided call list to schedule virtual calls to meet with physicians and provide education, discuss diagnostic services, determine where diagnostic tests can assist in providing a comprehensive solution. The ISR must use approved tools and resources for product promotion that will be delivered through virtual platforms.
 
Core Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and implement territory management and planning with Director of Inside Sales team
  • Sell NeoGenomics’ products, develop new accounts, and/or proactively expand existing accounts.
  • Engage with customers to support continued ordering, usage, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Support corporate objectives and highlight the delivery of key selling messages and provide a high-level of service for customers.
  • Provide account management, order facilitation and sales activities for existing Tier D customers.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company products and services to align customer and patient needs to NeoGenomics’ products.
  • Analyze targeted accounts and develop recommendations to acquire their business through information collection, marketing initiatives, sales call cycle, etc.
  • Ensure all activities and opportunities are entered and tracked in SFDC to allow increased visibility.
  • Maintain detailed records in SalesForce.com to provide account updates and support ongoing review of the customer master file.
     Experience, Education and Qualifications: 
    • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Business, Marketing or the Life Sciences
    • 0-2 years’ experience and some sales experience preferred. Prior formal sales training courses a plus. Demonstrated record of achievement in a prior sales position preferred Must pass a color vision test
    • Strong closing skills and business acumen.
    • Skilled at persuasive techniques and negotiation.
    • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills at all levels of the organization
    • Proven oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills
    • Knowledge of clinical and/or laboratory market environment and products
    • Ability to learn and retain product-specific information and utilize to position the features and benefits to customers
    • Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments
    • Proficient with MS Office programs
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
    • Must be able to work in a biohazard environment and comply with safety policies and standards outlined in the Safety Manual
    • Valid driver’s license for state of residence required
    • Travel Required: Ability to travel as required by role (up to 10% of the time).  Some overnight travel may be required.
