Job purpose
We are currently recruiting an Inside Sales Representative to play a pivotal role in engaging and managing a diverse portfolio of customers across Japan. Your proactive approach to customer communication, coupled with your ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities will be instrumental in driving revenue retention and accelerating growth.
How you will contribute at Janes
- Engaging and managing a wide range of customers across APAC to ensure revenue retention and drive growth in Annual Contract Value (ACV).
- Collaborating with partners, when applicable, to enhance customer relationships.
- Maintaining accurate sales forecasting in the CRM system, following the Janes sales governance process.
- Proactively communicating with customers, both through outbound calls and follow-ups on leads.
- Understanding customer needs and identifying sales opportunities.
- Providing prompt responses to potential customers' inquiries and sharing additional information via email.
- Keeping up-to-date on product and service information and updates.
- Developing and managing a comprehensive database of current and potential customers.
- Effectively explaining and demonstrating product and service features to customers.
- Staying informed about competing products and services.
- Drive product and service upselling initiatives.
- Thoroughly researching and qualifying new leads.
- Achieving sales targets through effective sales closing strategies.
Requirements
- Fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken
- Previous experience in sales, preferably in the data subscription, publishing or related industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
