The role will be an integral part of the Commercial function for SEEK’s newly-launched Recruiter Network (SRN) business. The role places the Inside Sales Consultant in a pivotal position for an internal start-up, supported by the additional resources and opportunities of being part of the SEEK Group.
This role will focus on engaging with small to medium-sized enterprises with differing hiring requirements to understand their challenges and successfully convert them to the SRN platform to help them achieve their goals of hiring a great candidate.
Key Responsibilities
As a phone-based Inside Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for calling, qualifying and closing sales opportunities with existing and new SME clients. Supporting the team objective of accelerating growth, your role is accountable for the following:
- Engaging with SME businesses through a high volume of daily outbound sales calls, with a key focus on understanding their hiring challenges and selling the Recruiter Network solution.
- Perform effective discovery to uncover and understand the customer’s needs, ensuring recommendations are best fit for their individual business requirements.
- Leverage strong influencing and negotiation skills to provide strategic consultations, address concerns proactively, optimize timelines, and drive results.
- Utilise a fundamental understanding of the SRN platform as well as current market trends and incorporate these as appropriate in client conversations.
- Drive continuous improvement through a proactive focus on individual and team performance. Actively contribute to a positive team culture by sharing insights and ideas and collaborating with your team mates to drive best practice.
- Demonstrable experience in phone-based sales, including customer-focused solution sales.
- Proven ability to manage a high volume of leads, maintain a sales pipeline, and meet/exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and consultative selling skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport over the phone.
- Familiarity with CRMs (preferably HubSpot) is a bonus but not essential.
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a constantly changing environment.
- Customer-centric mindset with a strong drive to create value and exceed sales targets.
