Requirements

The Infrastructure & IT Operations Manager will lead a group of infrastructure and network engineers globally geographically dispersed, providing incident resolution and proactive preemptive maintenance, while acting as a technical liaison between IT and the business.

What You'llDo:

  • Work with complex systems infrastructure and make modifications based on their analysis of technical requirements.
  • Organize, manage and monitor Azure cloud systems (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS & Containerisation) ensuring they are optimised, scalable and remain cost efficient.
  • Install, configure, test and maintain network architecture. Including but not limited to switches, routers, firewalls and SD-WAN.
  • Work in coordination with enterprise-wide stakeholders in aligning business needs to IT requirements
  • Leading a team of infrastructure operations engineers, identify personnel development needs and driving enhanced productivity.
  • Hiring, developing, and retaining great talent.
  • Measuring, monitoring, and maintaining the team’s ability to meet or exceed contact and resolution Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
  • Planning the onboarding of new technologies and services, and improving the level of support provided for existing ones.
  • Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and processes within a formal ISO 27001/ITIL framework.
  • Responding to inquiries, escalations, and establish partnerships with key customers and service owners.
  • Regularly review capacity of the infrastructure domain and raise cost-justified recommendations for dealing with issues before they impact the business.
  • Recommend, cost-justify and lead execution of modifications to the existing infrastructure to improve efficiency, reliability, and performance.
  • Experience and/or qualification relating to leading enterprise technologies such as Azure, Entra ID, Active Directory, Intune, Azure Files, as well as exposure to a wide variety of technical products and issues.
  • Technical troubleshooting and strong analytical skills
  • Project manage multiple initiatives simultaneously in an operational environment.
  • Ensure 100% compliance with defined CAB and root cause analysis processes.
  • Proven ability to operate in an extreme high pressure dynamic fast paced situations, successfully handle multiple competing priorities and possess a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism
  • Experience communicating cross-functionally and across management levels informal and informal settings
  • Experience in making data-driven decisions

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations Management roles including networking, server, storage, data centers and cloud.
  • The Manager of Infrastructure Operations must be a strong leader and communicator with exceptional analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Experience from large scale global enterprise organizations
  • Experience with the planning and communicating the enterprise infrastructure Roadmap - include details with Azure, Operating Systems, Capacity, Desktop Architecture, Alert Monitoring, Problem Determination, Incident Management, Backup/Recovery.
  • Strong collaborator, communicator and leader
  • Web technologies (devices, servers, cloud instances, and networking protocols that enable applications and data) experience to include building an enterprise architecture
  • Knowledge of Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS/WAF) and vulnerability assessment tools
  • Experience in ITIL and ISO 27001 Frameworks

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Infrastructure Operations Management roles including networking, server, storage, data centers and cloud.
  • The Manager of Infrastructure Operations must be a strong leader and communicator with exceptional analytic and problem solving skills.
  • Experience from large scale global enterprise organizations
  • Experience with the planning and communicating the enterprise infrastructure Roadmap - include details with Azure, Operating Systems, Capacity, Desktop Architecture, Alert Monitoring, Problem Determination, Incident Management, Backup/Recovery.
  • Strong collaborator, communicator and leader
  • Web technologies (devices, servers, cloud instances, and networking protocols that enable applications and data) experience to include building an enterprise architecture
  • Knowledge of Intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS/WAF) and vulnerability assessment tools
  • Experience in ITIL and ISO 27001 Frameworks
  • Experience in producing implementation documents (e.g. new office setup)
  • Extensive VPN and Global network routing implementation and support
  • Experience supporting network Technologies such as LAN switching/Routing, Firewalls , SD-WAN and Load Balancers
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Organized, methodical and self-motivated
  • Ability to visualize and analyze problems affecting multiple systems/locations
  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and new technologies
  • Takes the initiative to proactively resolve issues within own remit and recognises when escalation is required
