To work as a senior Consultant in business process analysis and design, and service delivery, particularly with respect to the use of information, trends, and directions
Act as an Architect for cross-program, and cross-project Architecture strategies, opportunities, and problem resolution
Advise clients on IT infrastructure design and implementation, including hardware, software, and network systems, and provide technical guidance and support throughout the design and implementation process.
Assess client needs and make recommendations for infrastructure solutions that meet their business requirements, and develop and present proposals, including cost estimates and timelines, for infrastructure projects.
Conduct infrastructure assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for optimization, and act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships and providing ongoing support and advice.
Collaborate with other consultants/partners/vendors and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions for clients, and keep up to date with industry trends and best practices in IT infrastructure design and implementation.
Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that infrastructure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Develop and maintain infrastructure documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration documents, and policies and procedures, and provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of the organization's infrastructure consultancy practice.
Requirements
Should have transferrable Iqama
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience, and having 3 years in a similar role
Proven experience as an Infrastructure Architect or similar role, with deep technical expertise in IT infrastructure design and implementation, including cloud, data center, storage, and networking.
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture and design, including hardware, software, and network systems, and experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and hybrid cloud environments.
Experience with infrastructure automation and configuration management tools, and knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security controls for infrastructure.
Knowledge of data center design principles, including server and storage virtualization, high availability, disaster recovery, and backup and recovery.
Strong understanding of storage technologies, such as SAN, NAS, and object storage, and experience with storage systems, such as Dell EMC, NetApp, or Pure Storage.
Experience with networking technologies, such as switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls, and knowledge of network security principles.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other IT staff members, stakeholders, and clients.
Project management skills and experience managing infrastructure projects, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects and initiatives.
Relevant certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), or Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA) certifications, are preferred but not required.
Basic understanding of Cyber-Security including Tool and Technologies
