The Red Gate Group is seeking a skilled Information Operations Policy Analyst – (Technical Program Analyst) to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (ASD SOLIC) in Arlington, VA. The ASD SOLIC is responsible for the oversight of all Department of Defense (DoD) policies and plans concerning special operations, with a focus on areas such as counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, and counter unmanned systems. This role is critical to supporting policy development, strategic planning, and operational guidance within these key areas.
As an Information Operations Policy Analyst, you will provide expertise in overseeing and integrating policy, strategy, and resource management for Operations in the Information Environment (OIE). Your work will involve drafting directives, instructions, and other policy documents to guide DoD efforts in countering misinformation and disinformation. You will develop comprehensive risk management processes to mitigate risks associated with information operations and craft legislative engagement strategies to support these activities. Additionally, you will prepare briefings, position papers, and other materials for senior DoD leadership, providing critical support on policy matters affecting Special Operations and OIE.
