Client Solution Architects (CSA) is looking for a Information Management Technician in the Grafenwohr, Germany location. The Information Management Technician possesses and demonstrates a unique blend of skills in data analysis, SharePoint administration, and programming tailored for an Army 365 environment. The IMS leverages SharePoint and Microsoft 365 technologies to support information processes, knowledge management, project management, regulatory compliance and decision-making. With a background in data analytics, SharePoint management, and the development of custom solutions, with a keen understanding of Army security requirements and the complexities of working within a defense contractor setting.
How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
- Organize, implement, and maintain the customer’s Information Management systems, (e.g., SharePoint, organizational one drives, MS Teams), and JMSC websites on NIPRNET and SIPRNET in compliance with DoD policies and regulations, and local NEC policies.
- Create portal and web sites using such tools as JavaScript/TypeScript, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and Microsoft Graph API.
- Develop and maintain processes, tools, and technologies focused on exploiting the knowledge assets, including web parts, portal pages, or other design development meant to improve customer processes and procedures.
- Provide the ability to manipulate stored data and inputs to provide outputs of specific information such as scheduling calendars with multiple data fields that can deliver specific information in response to a query.
- Create and manage SharePoint online environments, ensuring efficient site management, content organization, and compliance with Army data governance and S-6/G-6 policies. Automate administrative tasks using tools such as Po
- Provide content management services, software development life cycle, requirements analysis, design, software construction, testing, debugging, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop and provide A365/SharePoint training as required to both customer and contractor employees.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), mid- and long-range planning documents, strategies and other supporting documentation as needed.
- Review the existing processes and report on the status of the authorized groups, roles, users, and permissions of the customer portals/websites and provide reports as required.
- Monitor, identify and report as required portal/website deficiencies, outages or other unavailability.
- Utilize advanced data analytics tools, such as Power BI, to develop queries, reports, and dashboards. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance organizational performance.
- Track and analyze SharePoint usage and performance metrics. Use insights to recommend system improvements and enhance user engagement.
- Provision Non-Classified Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) network ISs and peripherals, including printers and VoIP.
- Provision Secret Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) network ISs and peripherals; including printers, Secure VoIP, and Secure Virtual Telephone Conference (VTC).
- Provision Alternate Smart Card Login (ASCL) Token Cards (i.e., NIPR, SIPR, etc.)
- Provide Tier I-III support to customers
- Support as needed other set-up, transition, and break down for all training and training support activities pertaining to this task order.
- Participate in individual training, seminars, conferences, exercise/experiment planning events, site surveys, and exercise and training events and supports the planning and preparation processes and product development as needed.
What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance
- A bachelor’s degree plus 3 years of recent specialized experience OR an associate’s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience OR a major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience OR 11 years of recent specialized experience.
- Possesses DoD 8570.01M IAT II certification: CompTIA Security+ or higher Information Assurance certification
- Proven experience in data analysis, SharePoint administration, and programming, preferably within a military or defense contractor environment.

What Sets You Apart:
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in a variety of programming languages and technical skills including some or all of the following:
- Advanced Data Analytics: Expertise in utilizing data analytics tools such as Power BI, with the ability to develop complex queries, reports, and dashboards that derive actionable insights from Army 365 data sets. Familiarity with statistical analysis software and techniques.
- SharePoint Management: In-depth knowledge of SharePoint Online administration, including site collection setup, permission management, content database management, and troubleshooting. Experience with PowerShell scripting for SharePoint automation tasks.
- Microsoft 365 Tools Proficiency: Strong understanding of the broader Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams, OneDrive for Business, and Exchange Online. Ability to leverage these tools in conjunction with SharePoint to enhance collaboration and data sharing within Army 365.
- Security and Compliance: Knowledge of Army-specific IT regulations and standards (e.g., ITAR, DFARS, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC) and experience implementing security measures in SharePoint and Microsoft 365 environments. Understanding of data governance, risk management, and compliance monitoring tools.
- Data Protection and Encryption: Experience with configuring and managing data encryption protocols, secure data storage, and transfer mechanisms within SharePoint and across Microsoft 365 services to protect sensitive Army information.
- Workflow Automation: Proficiency in using Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow) to create automated workflows between Microsoft 365 applications to streamline processes and improve efficiency in Army 365 operations.
- Custom Solution Development: Skills in custom development for SharePoint using SPFx (SharePoint Framework), JavaScript, TypeScript, and related technologies for creating web parts, extensions, and custom applications tailored to Army requirements.
- API Integration: Experience with Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint REST API for integrating SharePoint with other Microsoft 365 services and external applications, enhancing data interoperability and functionality.
- Performance Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with tools and techniques for monitoring the performance of SharePoint environments, analyzing system logs, and utilizing performance metrics to ensure optimal operation and user experience.
- Training and Documentation: Ability to develop and deliver effective training materials and documentation for SharePoint users, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with Army standards.
- Other beneficial skills and experience include:
- JavaScript/TypeScript: Proficient in using JavaScript and TypeScript for developing interactive and dynamic solutions within SharePoint Online. This includes creating custom web parts, extensions, and enhancing user interfaces to improve functionality and user experience within the Army 365 ecosystem.
- JSON: Advanced knowledge of JSON for configuring and customizing SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 settings. Expertise in utilizing JSON for site design, theme customization, and integration with Microsoft Power Automate for automated workflows.
- SharePoint and Microsoft 365 Development:
- Experience in developing and customizing SharePoint Online sites using the SharePoint Framework (SPFx), enabling the creation of responsive and tailored solutions that meet Army operational needs.
- Proficiency in building and deploying custom solutions that leverage Microsoft 365 APIs, particularly Microsoft Graph API, for enhancing data access, manipulation, and integration across Army 365 services.
