We are currently seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer in support of the Program Executive Office Ground Combat Systems (PEO GCS). The position will provide technical evaluations and cost estimates for equipment and facilities projects, including building and machinery improvements, and perform various analyses such as requirements and risk assessments. They will monitor project status, conduct on-site walkthroughs, track progress metrics, and report updates to the assigned Project Manager (PM). Additionally, the contractor will identify project issues, recommend solutions, and participate in meetings to support equipment and facility initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Perform cost estimating and evaluation for assigned projects. 
  • Conduct requirements analysis, risk assessments, and technology evaluations as needed by the Government. 
  • Monitor and track day-to-day project status, including on-site walkthroughs and documentation of progress. 
  • Report project development and progress metrics to the assigned Project Manager (PM). 
  • Identify and analyze equipment and facilities issues, providing recommendations for solutions. 
  • Participate in meetings to support the assigned PM in managing equipment and facilities projects. 

Qualifications

  • Secret Security Clearance 
  • A Bachelor's degree from an ABET accredited program in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering from a college or university preferred.  
  • A minimum total of ten years experience in production, manufacturing, facilities, or supply chain management within the DoD or Automotive Industries.  
  • Experience supporting the US Army or DoD is preferred including working with/on tracked or wheeled ground combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity (operator, maintainer, logistics, acquisition, or production).
