Job Purpose: Working nights on a rotating shift pattern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the required standards of Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene are met within the factory. You will be required to ensure cleaning is carried out effectively to agreed standards.
Reporting Relationship: Reporting to the Hygiene Team Leader and Hygiene Supervisor
Hours: 21:30 – 06:00 Mon to Friday
Hourly pay: €14.82 to €15.56 + 15% shift allowance
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to the following:
- To maintain Hygiene standards in all production areas
- To dismantle all machinery and equipment to enable effective cleaning
- Use of all industrial cleaning equipment, including chemicals & high-power hoses
- Responsible for reassembly of equipment in time for start-up
- To verify your own job throughout the shift on a regular basis
- To always follow strict hygiene procedures and schedules
- To ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to whilst completing tasks
- To participate in the regular daily, monthly, and periodic cleaning activities
Skills / Experience:
- Ideally you will have experience within a similar environment (food manufacturing)
- You will require an understanding of Food Safety, COSHH & Health, and Safety regulations within the industry
- To understand Basic Food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop
- To report any types of faults and damages to a Hygiene Team Leader/Engineers / Hygiene Supervisor
Key Competencies:
- Good Communication and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when required
- Good Organization skills
- Ability to work to strict deadlines and procedures
- Flexible approach to work
