Implementations Engineer

We are seeking an Implementation Engineer to help launch integrated partnerships by translating technical and business requirements into successful implementations. In this role, you will work closely with account managers, project managers, and partners to define program requirements, develop implementation plans, and iterate using existing platform functionality and workflows. You will be responsible for configuring custom program workflows, supporting partners through integration requirements, and ensuring all technical and operational needs are met before launch.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week
  • Reports to: Director of Product Implementations
  • Work Location: Hybrid - St. Louis, MO

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Solutions Engineering, or equivalent experience in solutions, integrations, or sales engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with API structures and system integrations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical team members and clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with software development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the technical requirements for clients integrating clinical programs into our platform.
  • Understand and communicate the sequence of API operations for integrated clinical programs.
  • Identify workflow gaps and collaborate with the Head of Implementations and Engineering to resolve them.
  • Execute applicable manual test cases for programs prior to launch, and strategically assess which issues are blockers.
  • Maintain clear and regular communication with Project Managers, stakeholders, and clients regarding integration requirements, milestones, risks, and blockers.
  • Generate detailed client-facing project deliverables, such as diagrams, flowcharts, integration certification plans, and project timelines.
  • Escalate and mitigate service or technical issues and manage new requirements that exceed the agreed scope or timeline.
  • Provide internal and external support for platform configurations and integration-related issues.
  • Independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve program or visit issues, escalating as necessary.
  • Configure the platform to accommodate changing program requirements using existing platform functionality.
  • Manage White Label configurations for client-branded experiences.
  • Serve as a liaison to the product and development teams for partner integration requests.
  • Analyze the implementation process to identify areas for improvement and collaborate with internal teams to enhance efficiency over time.
