This Implementation Specialist role lives within the customer engagement arm of Granicus’ govService Host Compliance product family and is a member of the Implementation Services and Customer Experience (Support and Success) teams. These teams help customers (government agencies) transform the citizen experience.
 
As an Implementation Specialist you will provide operational support towards the implementation and deep adoption of products across our customer base. To be successful in this role you need to be customer-centric, detail-oriented and data-savvy.

What Your Impact Will Look Like Here:

  • Analyze online advertisements for vacation rental properties
  • Gain a deep understanding of parcel and assessor data
  • Ensure consistent quality of our client’s data
  • Gain competency in and specialization within the full suite of processes and tools used by the team to deliver high quality services and products
  • Support critical day-to-day operational tasks
  • Identify potential implementation and post-implementation risks and mitigation – as early as possible
  • Support Implementation Services, Customer Experience, and Technical teams to troubleshoot issues and problems that customers and/or other team members are having with our systems or product
  • Investigation and remediation of issues
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements within the team
  • Documentation – assist with the creation and maintenance of our internal knowledge base
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed

You Will Love This Job If You Have:

  • Technical background, preferably with experience in the government technology industry
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel – can analyse and manipulate large data sets
  • Interest in maps and physical/cultural geography; experience or familiarity with GIS a plus
  • Experience with web mapping platforms such as Google Maps and Bing Maps
  • Experience working with bug tracking systems; Jira is a plus
  • Experience working or familiarity with customer relationship management tools; Salesforce is a plus
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy – in thinking and execution
  • Excellent communication skills – listening, verbal, and written
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a cross-functional team, some remote
  • Excitement for working on multiple simultaneous client projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Enthusiasm for expanding knowledge and skills, and the ability to do so quickly
  • Dedication to quality work output
  • Value the importance of user experience
  • Valid Amazon Mechanical Turk account strongly preferred

Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
