GroupM is the leading global media investment management operation serving as the parent company to WPP media agencies including Mindshare, EssenceMediaCom and Wavemaker each global operations in their own right with leading market positions.

GroupM’s primary purpose is to maximize performance of WPP’s media agencies by operating as leader and collaborator in trading, content creation, sports, digital, finance, proprietary tool development and other business-critical capabilities. GroupM’s focus is to deliver unrivalled marketplace advantage to its clients, stakeholders and people.

As we continue on this journey, we are seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to join our team.  You will be responsible for the planning and delivery of new implementations and supporting existing implementations on the Media Central platform across all GroupM markets in the EMEA Region. This role reports to the  Media Systems Lead.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support market Implementation of Media Central
  • Align with market and business unit to global standard
  • Participate in technical discussions and select an implementation model
  • Lead Business Analysis, QA, Cutover and Data Migration for the market system implementation
  • Work with the vendor team to ensure that activity is on track
  • Perform post-implementation review with local project and vendor teams
  • Assist the Product Team with the platform design and improvement
  • Ensure smooth transition - collaborating with support teams, end-user groups and all stakeholders
  • Report to the Media Systems Lead on implementation progress, issues, risks and changes
  • Assist or lead Media Central superuser forums - ensure immediate needs are managed and contracting aligns with Global agreement. Promote re-use, common solutions and workflows
  • Provide the primary point of coordination between local market teams and the global team
  • Media Central Operations - contact point for maintenance, upgrades, security reviews, audits, etc
  • Undertake super-admin duties as defined by the global platform standard operating procedure
  • Support, participate and partner with project management and change teams in the market to ensure the following is delivered across markets:
    • Change and communications planning
    • Training and sharing your knowledge
    • Working with vendors and market SMEs for data migration
    • Working with vendors and market-appointed trainers
    • Working with vendors and market SMEs to accept on cutover strategy and approach
    • Working with vendors and market partners to run UAT
    • Market set-up
    • Business case tracking

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's/master’s degree in Information Systems, Technology, Business Management, or related degree; or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Demonstrable experience in the implementation of workflow tools – (specific Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is beneficial but not a prerequisite)
  • Experience in digital transformation programs within large organizations will be an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in project management methodologies such as Agile/PMI/Lean
  • Experience of working in a technical environment with APIs and Integrations, including API protocols and formats (e.g. SOAP, REST, XML and JSON)
  • Experience in business analysis, requirements elicitation, business process engineering, as-is and to-be mapping, BPMN, etc
  • Strong business change background
  • Has sufficient credibility and gravitas, and ability to work with and relate to a highly demanding internal stakeholder base
  • A direct, straightforward style, able to cut to the core quickly
  • Excellent people and team management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment (matrixed and across multiple physical locations)
