Summary: The Implementation Manager is responsible for the execution of high-quality and timely client onboarding projects from kick-off through launch. They are a critical piece of Onbe's system and strategy, serving as the first touchpoint following the sales cycle and setting the tone for a client's relationship with Onbe. They will bring projects through the lifecycle with a focus on speed, quality, and client happiness at the helm and will have a comprehensive understanding of Onbe's product suite and a passion for setting clients up for success. They also collaborate across departments to drive process improvement and standard methodologies that position Onbe as a leader in the industry.
This role is a hybrid role that will work onsite 1-2 days per week at our Buffalo Grove, IL location. Occasional travel may be required as part of this position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead multiple client program implementations simultaneously by applying effective implementation methodology and customizing project plans based on internal processes, configuration requirements, and client needs.
- Coordinate project results and lead status meetings to communicate results, task owners, and next steps with clients and internal departments, Sales and Account Executives, Product Solutions, and Client Support
- Identify and advance obstacles hindering project success; collaborating closely with internal collaborators to action and resolve issues quickly.
- Educate clients on products and platforms via demonstrations and training sessions before their first order.
- Configure and test internal systems to verify all program requirements have been fulfilled
- Facilitate client transition from Implementation to Client Support.
- Actively contribute to team process documentation and training for implementing standard processes.
- Adhere to all Risk and Compliance policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in a client-facing onboarding role using implementation or project management methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Proven understanding of standard processes in project lifecycle methodology and project management principles.
- Experience with implementations on multiple platforms and systems.
- Project Management tool/software experience (Smartsheet, MS Project, etc.)
- Excellent business writing and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Project Management certification is highly desired.
- Familiarity with the payment industry ecosystem is preferred but not required.
The base salary range for this position is budgeted for $82,250 to $94,500 with eligibility for an annual bonus. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, business needs, and market demand.
