Our client is a cutting-edge start-up specializing in the development of ultra-precise imaging solutions for the early detection of cancer. Their mission is to transform medical diagnostics through innovative Positron Emission Tomography (PET) devices.
We are looking for a Software Engineer specialized in image reconstruction and artificial intelligence (AI) to join a dynamic and passionate team.

Requirements

Your missions:

  • Design and develop AI models for image reconstruction specifically for our new generation of PET scanners.
  • Optimize the performance of the image reconstruction software by implementing GPU acceleration, particularly using CUDA, to ensure maximum computational efficiency.
  • Work closely with international teams to integrate AI models into existing image management software.
  • Develop hardware simulation to produce images and analyze specific parts of the human body.
  • Ensure the development is compliant with quality standards (ISO 13485 and MDR for medical devices) and guarantee optimal system performance.

Requirements:

🎓 Required Degree: Master's in Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Computer Science, or related field. A PhD is a plus.

💻 Technical Skills:

  • Strong skills in C++ and Python programming.
  • First experience in biomedical image reconstruction is essential.
  • Deep Learning and associated frameworks for image reconstruction (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
  • Expertise in GPU programming for performance optimization on high-performance computing platforms (CUDA).
  • A solid understanding of quality management systems, including ISO 13485 and MDR regulations for medical devices.

🤝 Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with international teams, including researchers and specialized engineers.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong ability to propose innovative ideas and defend technical choices while being proactive in project development.

🌍 Languages: Fluent in English (required) both written and spoken. French is a plus.
