Assist in development of sensor image processing and navigation software on a mobile robotic platform.
Essential Duties:
Develop image processing and computer vision algorithms for fiducial based navigation utilizing C++ and OpenCV. Perform experiments, analyze and report on results.
Required Skills:
C++, OpenCV / image processing, image registration, pattern matching, quaternion mathematics, Inertial Measurement / Inertial Navigation Units (IMU/INU), and Linux.
Embedded and real-time systems experience, and knowledge of advanced machine learning algorithms is preferred, but not required.
Required Education:
Current undergrad or Masters student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or related field, with strong C++ programming skills and knowledge of quaternion mathematics.
Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $22 - $35 per hour.
