Image Ground Segment Architect [24133]

 We are recruiting an Image Ground Segment Architect to join our Space business unit in the Images Skills Center. Our Skills Center provides expertise in remote sensing and satellite image processing.

  • You will be responsible for developing our activities in the definition, design and development of systems incorporating algorithmic chains based on image processing libraries and tools;
  •  You will take part in drawing up information system offers for operational projects for new satellite missions.

You will have the following qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Masters Degree in Engineering;
  • You bring least 10 years' experience in the development or operation of image ground segments;
  • Mastery of image chain orchestration concepts and ground segment operational issues is essential;
  • You will have a good knowledge of Makefile, Python, Script Shell as well as algorithms and image and signal processing;
  • You have an experience of the integration of the processors in a cloud environment;
  • You are a team player, you like to solve problems while remaining optimistic, and you are familiar with agile development methods;
  • Fluency in English is mandatory; knowledge of another European language is an advantage.
