IBP Implementation Specialist CONTRACT
This is a contract role that will be supporting our Merchandise Planning team’s IBP implementation and system adoption process. This role will be primarily responsible for executing the data validation, system integration validation, user acceptance testing, and adoption phases of the project as guided by the Director of Merchandise Planning. In addition, this person will be responsible for collaborating with the merchandise planning team to ensure all tests are completed to accepted standard within the project timeline. Once testing and validation have been completed, this role will focus on process change and adoption to support on-boarding to the IBP system. These responsibilities include creating templates, adjusting processes to comply with IBP functionality, team training & implementation of best practices. This role will require a lot of independent work and self-guided training in the SAP IBP system.
Background:
• 5-8 years of planning experience (inventory, demand, merchandise)
• Experience deploying new planning systems and processes (IBP a plus!)
• Experience in new system integration testing, data validation and user acceptance testing
• Able to manage and synthesize large sets of data
• Strong understanding of planning principles and how to apply them to different processes
• Attention to detail
• Strong business acumen and understanding of various planning approaches
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Expert level Excel skills
