Hybrid Sales Representative

As a member of our Talent Solutions Sales Team, you will be a part of an experienced group of sales professionals who are bringing LinkedIn’s Talent Solutions products (Talent, Learning) to market. In this hybrid sales role, you will have full-cycle responsibility for both driving new business and maintaining an existing book of client relationships.  
 
Our team operates like a start-up, so we are looking for candidates with entrepreneurial DNA. You can handle ambiguity and improvise new processes when needed. You are solutions-oriented, have a growth mindset, and are aligned with our belief that LinkedIn can enhance the government’s ability to serve the public. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Establish executive-level relationships.  
  • Manage existing and new customer relationships for revenue and relationship growth both over the phone and in-person meetings. 
  • Maintain prospecting activity to build a healthy pipeline and increase revenue/market share 
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for the territory and provide reliable forecasts 
  • Act as a brand evangelist to improve awareness & understanding of LinkedIn Talent Solutions 
  • Close new business consistently at or above quota level 
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales partners. 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of applicable sales experience 
  • Business level of fluency in both verbal and written Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with recruiting, recruitment media and HR software 
  • Experience with SaaS opportunities and Salesforce.com platform 
  • Experience selling IT or recruiting solutions 
  • Knowledge of software contract terms and conditions with the ability to create fair transactions 
  • Strong negotiation and accurate forecasting skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to find, manage and close high-level business in an evangelist sales environment 
  • Ability to assess business opportunities and use data to inform decision making and persuade others 
  • Ability to manage a large number of prospective situations simultaneously while positioning company products against direct and indirect competitors
