Hybrid & Electric FW/SW Engineer

We are looking for a Firmware/Software (FW/SW) Engineer who will join the SW team to support the Hybrid & Electric systems developments, reporting directly to the H&E SW Manager.

This position is located in Corbetta/Bologna.

As Hybrid & Electric SW/FW Engineer, YOU WILL:

• Perform System Requirements Identification, Analysis, Discussion, and Engineering.

• Develop and maintain Motorsport SW Architecture for customer API distribution.

• Define and develop FW/SW for several onboard applications as well as helping to define future evolution of software and related lifecycle design.

• Analyse and evaluate results proposing actions to improve the solutions or corrective actions in case of unconformity.

• Provide complete and accurate reports about advancing state and main problems.

• Evolve unit test and methodologies.

• Technical high school diploma in one of the following disciplines: Electronic/Computer Engineering.

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Outstanding interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, VxWorks), Linux and Linux-RT, Automotive SW architecture.

• Knowledge of communication interfaces: CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay, PCI, SPI, UART, USB,

• Knowledge of Data & Protocols standard (A2L), XCP (extended calibration protocol), UDS, etc.

Other skills that we would welcome

• Experience in FW and SW developments (at least 3 years’ experience).

• Availability for business trips.

• Knowledge of Matlab and Office.

• Knowledge of laboratory hardware/software instruments (oscilloscope, signal generator, multimeter, etc.).

• Knowledge of Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) toolchain, Azure DevOps.
