Job description:
The candidate is responsible for managing Solidigm SSD HVM materials, supporting NPI successfully transition to HVM, managing ODM end materials planning operations as a supervisor role to best serve Solidigm business demand. Manage ODM materials planning operation includes but not limited to materials procurement control; materials commit delivery schedule monitor; shortage mitigation, healthy inventory, excess control and important cycling materials strategy DOI/AA BOM setting. Drive cross-team work with PMT/CM to mitigate supply risk and secure continuous material supply with a fast-turn of MRB displ, new qual part cut in etc. Other than ODM material management, materials strategic planning is another crucial function area. Direct work with SSD suppliers for strategic planning, cycling renew DOI; risk buy proposal; capacity reservation deal talk. Partner with SDM and SDA team of constrained materials and new demand proposal to maximize the revenue. MPM is also responsible for material spending FCST, aging material prepay, CN, scrap FCST etc, closely work with Finance team for ad-hoc request.
Education & Experience:
BS/BA+3 to 5 years Materials planning/Supply chain management background
Project/Program management skills
Detailed oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Fluent in Japanese/Korea is a plus
