The Taylor facility will boost the production of semiconductor solutions that will power next-generation technologies in areas like 5G, artificial intelligence (AI) and high performance computing.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Overview:

Responsible for performing preventative tasks and some light repair maintenance in support of the operation of utility systems, Fab support equipment, building maintenance or chemical and gas delivery equipment. Activities include review of specification documentation, supporting startup and operation of facilities, mechanical, chemical, waste and electrical systems. In addition, performs general maintenance and repair as required, and notifies system owner of equipment inefficiencies. Requires compliance with all health, safety and environmental management system guidelines.
o Preventative Maintenance: Primary Objective is to complete assigned preventative maintenance on time without recall.
o Repair Maintenance: Supports Sr. and Master Techs as needed for repair maintenance.
o Light Troubleshooting: Troubleshoots assets within his/her skill level but seeks support from Sr. and Master Techs for more complex issues.
o Training: Constantly seeks out training and takes a strong interest in his/her professional development

Specific Job Duties:

Essential Responsibilities
o Normally receives general instructions on daily tasks, detailed instructions on Beginner to Intermediate Level Projects or Assignments.
o Receives some direction from higher level Technicians when supporting specific tasks.
o Determines appropriate methods and procedures to uptime on new assignment.
o Must have intermediate understanding of equipment/processes.
o Should demonstrate adaptability.
o Follows and interprets standard operating procedures to ensure equipment / processes / systems are running effectively and/or to respond to more complicated failures, maintenance needs, incidents, quality issues, damaged areas and/or defect issues.
o Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine and non-routine issues.
o Utilizes knowledge to recognize when SOPs are incomplete or unavailable, report discrepancies.
o Provides support for more complicated new and existing equipment startups, shutdowns, upgrades and/or installations.
o Provides feedback on the generation and/or modifications of specifications, SOPs, and failure analysis reports.
o Interprets/analyzes data requiring abnormal sampling and reference to historical data.
o Uses data entered in T1 systems by technicians to handle escalated PM/CPM incidents and troubleshoots accordingly to diagnose the problem.
o Works with Sr. Technicians to find the root cause problems with equipment, processes, incidents, etc., and demonstrates the judgment to escalate the issue(s) when necessary.
o Uses troubleshooting results and/or incidents to anticipate future failures in area of expertise.
o May conduct routine inspections and investigations.
o Interprets data from equipment, processes etc.
o Works from and interprets, written/verbal instructions, layouts or defined plans.
o Regular attendance and timeliness is required per departmental guidelines.
o Has Beginner to intermediate knowledge of relevant software tools (i.e., Programmable Logic Controller, Microsoft etc.).
o Ability to work flexible hours as necessary.
o Intermediate knowledge in relevant code regulations.
o Ability to work independently within the scope of small routine assignments.

Shift: C Shift (Thursday-Saturday alternating Wednesdays, Days, 7am-7pm)
