Responsibilities 
       
Shamrock Trading Corporation is looking for a Human Resources Generalist to join the HR team. This role is responsible for accurately communicating and clarifying HR processes and policies to company personnel, as well as assisting in the organization of general team functions. An ideal candidate is familiar with Human Resources, who can effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees, with the ability to pivot and prioritize tasks. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
  • Handles employment-related inquiries from employees and managers, escalating complex and/or sensitive matter appropriately 
  • Ability to help implement, support, and demonstrate an understanding of HR department initiatives, policies, and procedures 
  • Plan, prepare, and coordinate employee onboarding including both our Overland Park office and regional office locations 
  • Conduct new hire HR Overview presentation and assist with first-day company orientation 
  • Manage and maintain I-9 forms for all employees, including E-Verify registration process, verifying necessary documentation, and staying current with any updates to citizenship statuses 
  • Collect, review, audit, and file new hire paperwork and agreements 
  • Maintain personnel records in both electronic and paper forms 
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion regarding all employee and company-related sensitive information 
  • Implement and expand employee recognition programs and awards 
  • Oversee company intranet updates and ensure proper information is in place 
  • Maintain job descriptions alongside HR Managers to ensure accuracy 
  • Assist with updating human resources documents, such as organizational charts as needed 
  • Analyze employment-related data and prepare required reporting 
  • Assist with daily system updates such as transfers, promotions, title changes, etc. 
  • Performs routine tasks required to administer and assist with disciplinary matters, disputes, and performance management 
  • Performs other related duties and projects as required and assigned 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field 
  • 2+ years in HR Coordinator or HR Administrator role 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws preferred 
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems experience is a plus 
  • Desire to work as a team with a result driven approach 
  • Primarily on-site presence required
