Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking an aspiring and highly motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of the HR department.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
• Handle employee concerns or conflicts and assist in resolving issues in a fair and effective manner
• Preparation of data for government surveys
• Assist in administering employee benefits programs (health, dental, retirement, etc)
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Utilize HR software to maintain employee records, track data, and generate reports
• Provide general HR administrative support including preparing documents, scheduling meetings, and maintaining HR files
• Oversee the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for employees
• Conduct onboarding and orientation of all new hires (virtual or onsite)
• Act as a point of contact for dormitory management, trainings and certifications for blue collared employees
• Management of work pass administration, including application, renewal, and termination, as well as compliance with Foreign Workers requirements
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Company

Requirements

• Diploma in Human Resources / Business Administration or any other related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role with experience in payroll administration
• Knowledge of payroll practices, labour laws and and work permit application processes
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and HRIS software
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
