Who You Are:
The HR generalist will have broad knowledge of human resources functions across hiring, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, systems training. Supports and partners with all HR in the region. Owns the responsibility for understanding Australia and New Zealand employment law with the opportunity to impact work in other regions. Supports both local teams and functional groups and will partner closely with employees, managers, Payroll, Facilities, IT, and the Global HR team.
Your Next Challenge:
- Owns the employee support for the Australia and New Zealand offices, answering questions regarding leave of absences, employee performance issues, benefits, payroll, and other HR related matters.
- Participate in planning and facilitating of new hire orientation, onboarding process, and employee programs in partnership with global HR team.

Partner with HRBPs to support across the Asia Pacific region, including communications, answering employee questions, understanding local and regional needs, and connecting these needs back to the overall organization.
- Suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve efficiency of the HR department and organization, and to improve employee experience.
- Performs routine tasks and participates in workflow and processes related to performance management, benefits, employee relations, talent and workforce management, recognition, morale and training and development.
- Addresses and partners with HRBP on employee relations and performance management matters, including documentation, providing guidance to local managers on employee issues, tools and resources, and action plans. Partners with local HR Business Partners and Legal for high risk and complex matters.
- Partners with HRBPs to align work and project focus with HR goals and priorities as well as initiatives of global functional business partners. Supports HRBPs with key functional business projects.
- Partners with HR centers of excellence (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Culture & Development, HR Business Partners, Operations) on workflows, process improvements, projects, and solutions.
- Administers and coordinates global HR workflows, including immigration, relocation, leave of absence and others.
- Partners with remote facilities team to provide general facilities support for the Sydney office including liaison with third party vendors, online supply ordering, postage and courier tasks, access control tasks, Work Health and Safety inductions, ad-hoc facilities tasks as requested.
What You'll Need:
- Human resources operations and employee relation experience covering the APAC region.
Nice to Have:
- Preference for Japanese speaker, but not required.
