As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our India office. Your primary focus will be to act as a strategic business partner with local senior leaders while providing HR guidance to India employees and closely partnering with the Human Resource team members located in the United States.
In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team’s existing talents. For this HR Generalist role, we are seeking a candidate with proven experience across multiple disciplines of HR and a focus on the employee experience to help advance the growth of our India office.

Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic business partner, closely collaborating with the Sr. Leaders in India and the U.S. Human Resources team to implement and educate employees on HR programs while supporting the local needs and country regulations for India employees.
- Drive continuous training initiatives and measure their impact effectively.
- Manage the complete employee lifecycle from onboarding through exit.
- Actively participate in talent acquisition and lead the recruitment process for India.
- Provide guidance on total rewards programs and support career paths for employees.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to best support our India employees.
Requirements:
- Proven success as a strategic partner with demonstrated success in helping the organization meet its goals.
- 5-6 years of human resources experience within multiple HR disciplines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Candidates with experience supporting technical lines of business are preferred.
Edelman Financial Engines takes a market-based approach to pay. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions. Additionally, this role may be eligible for other forms of compensation and benefits, such as a discretionary bonus, health, dental and other wellness plans, and 401(k) contributions.
