We are seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our team in Chennai. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director of Human Resources, India, to support the business's HR needs and ensure our people practices align with the company’s strategic goals. Your responsibilities will include engaging with business leaders to implement HR initiatives that foster a positive work environment. You will be actively involved in employee relations, retention efforts, and enhancing overall HR operations to create a workplace where employees can thrive.
As an integral member of the HR team, you will contribute to various HR functions, including talent management, performance management, and organizational development. You will provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues and assist in developing strategies that promote employee engagement and satisfaction. Your proactive approach will help address workforce challenges and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will play a key role in ensuring that our HR practices effectively support Gigamon’s growth and success in the region.
What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to implement HR programs that support company objectives.
  • Help with talent management activities, including hiring, employee development, and retention.
  • Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance feedback, and conflict resolution.
  • Analyze employee data to propose HR solutions that address team needs.
  • Manage HR projects, balancing different priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Conduct exit interviews and offer recommendations to improve employee engagement and reduce turnover.
  • Stay up to date on HR trends and regulations to ensure compliance.
What you have done:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a HR Business Partner, working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with talent management, employee relations, and HR processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and credibility with employees and managers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
