Summary/Objective
The Human Resources generalist is responsible for recruiting, hiring, employees development, account and administrative as well as working with current employees to manage appropriate workplace, behavior and job compliance.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities. 
  1. Directs the interpretation and application of established Human Resources policies throughout the company.
  2. Maintains overall company’s recruitment, placement, retention and training programs. Communication and interaction with recruitment agencies and Hiring managers 
  3. Responsible for administration of onboarding, offboarding, insurance, time attendance system.
  4. Exercise general administration over all company benefit programs and employee relation activities.
  5. General Office facilities support and human resource related administrative duties.
  6. Industrial Relations – Overall responsible to provide necessary advice, recommendation and information in compliance to the employment and laws.
  7. Responsible for logistics and legal related administration support for Samtec Japan and R&K 
  8. Maintain transaction with accounting firm, gather and check expenses report, petty cash management, handling expense payments, purchasing and fixed asset listing.  
  9. general administration support for Samtec Japan & R&K including maintaining Japan sales data. 
  10. Special projects as and when assigned by management.

Required Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a Human Resources & office administration field is preferred.
  • Must have great organizational and time management skills.
  • Communication skills are essential as this person will be interacting with different levels of the business on a daily basis.
  • Fluency in Japanese and proficiency in English are required 
  • Official Business Skills Test in Bookkeeping, 2nd grade” is preferred.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Preferred Education  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred  
  • Experience can be substituted in lieu of educational requirements.

  • On the job training as appropriate.
