POSITION OVERVIEW

KKR is seeking a Human Capital Operations Manager to be based in Gurugram. This role will collaborate closely with the global Human Capital (HC), Corporate Services and Real Estate, and Technology teams to enhance system processes in conjunction with overall goals and objectives. This is an onsite role based in the KKR Gurugram office.

This role is responsible for ensuring day-to-day execution of and providing HC support to employees for all transactions within Workday, inclusive of Benefits, Time Off and Leave of Absence tracking. The incumbent will also collaborate with HC colleagues on employee onboarding/off-boarding, processing employee transfers, and general coordination of information to ensure seamless processing of payroll, benefits, and other transactions both within and outside of the HRIS system. While the role is primarily focused on the APAC region, the remit is global and will involve close coordination and support across the global HC Operations team.

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as a key partner and liaison among Human Capital (HC), Technology, Payroll, and Talent Acquisition teams, ensuring prompt resolution of inquiries from managers and team members while contributing to a smooth HC service delivery.
  • Manage and facilitate transactions in Workday, ServiceNow, and Greenhouse ATS, covering onboarding, offboarding, and transfers for employees and contingent workers.
  • Enhance the new team member experience by managing essential onboarding touchpoints such as background checks, communications, support, and orientation.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of HC records and transactions, managing audits and data quality processes and continually improving auditing tools and solutions.
  • Support benefits processing including enrollments and terminations, ensuring all necessary data is available in our system, and coordinating with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Partner with global Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure adherence to policies, keep documents current, and conduct timely evaluations of suppliers for compliance exemptions.
  • Collaborate with the HC Technology and Transformation teams to refine and document key operational workflows, such as onboarding and offboarding, to enhance efficiency, compliance, and the overall team member experience.
  • Coordinate with HC functional leads to review and enhance operational requirements, optimizing processes to align with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Collect and analyze requirements from HC functional leads to drive process improvements, and support training on Workday and Greenhouse best practices.
  • Partner with the HC Technology team to design, test, and implement system improvements, acting as a champion for change management across the organization.
  • Coordinate with the HC Analytics team to produce reports, insights, and operational metrics, identify new reporting requirements, and respond to ad-hoc requests from Business Partners and leadership.

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 8 years’ prior HC Operations experience 
  • Experience across multiple HC functional areas
  • Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Workday and Greenhouse ATS are highly preferred
  • Experience with Tableau or other data analytics/visualization tools would be advantageous
