Job Description 

Joining the HSO International HR team means embarking on a journey of continuous learning and growth. We are seeking an HR officer who can contribute to our human capital management and employee engagement strategies, and in return, we offer a platform for personal growth and career advancement. 

As part of the HSO International HR team you will play a key role in promoting our organizational values and culture and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment for our diverse and multicultural workforce. 

This role suits candidates seeking to grow their skills and experience across all matters relative to International HR and Recruitment. 

Primary responsibilities will include but not limited to: 

  • Creating new hire offers/salary proposals. 
  • Assist with Employee application for 30% ruling. 
  • Assist with Employee VISA requirements and relocation process. 
  • Onboarding/offboarding activities. 
  • Organizing and managing the induction/onboarding days for new hires. 
  • Back-up for processing the monthly payroll. 
  • Assist with the HSO International Events & Trainings. 
  • Updating internal databases and Excel. 
  • Supporting with end-of-year reviews and administrative tasks. 
  • Oversee employee engagement-related matters. 
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations
  • Audit administrative assistance. 
  • Implementing HR documents, policies, and procedures (e.g. employee personal records, employee policies and onboarding guides) 

Requirements

Essentials:

  • Located in the Netherlands.
  • Right to work in the Netherlands. 
  • Ability to travel to the head office when required.
  • An excellent level of English verbal and written, Dutch language skills is a plus but not essential.
  • 4+ years of work experience in an HR environment.
  • Strong administration skills.
  • Prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Independent and proactive.
  • Clear and transparent communication.
  • Critical thinking and (pragmatic) problem-solving. 
  • Presentable, professional and punctual.
  • Excellent team player.

Desired Experience / Skills: 

  • Experience in an administrative role within HR.
  • HR and/or Administration Diploma or Degree or studies in a related field.
  • Knowledge of Dutch Law and regulations.
