Job Summary
The HRIS Specialist / HR Data Analyst will manage HR technology systems, with a primary focus on ADP, to ensure data integrity and system functionality. This role is responsible for supporting HRIS upgrades, troubleshooting system issues, and maintaining accurate employee data. The HRIS Specialist will also provide detailed reports and data insights to support workforce analytics, helping drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

HRIS Management & Maintenance:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the HRIS (ADP), ensuring accurate data entry and the seamless integration of employee information.
- Maintain system configurations, ensure proper access controls, and address any security concerns related to data handling.
- Provide support for HRIS upgrades, patches, and system updates, ensuring smooth implementation with minimal disruption.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline HR Operations and improve data accuracy

Data Integrity & Accuracy:
- Monitor data accuracy in the HRIS, including employee demographics, job classifications, compensation details, and employment history.
- Perform regular audits of HRIS data to ensure compliance with company standards and government regulations.
- Serve as the point of contact for troubleshooting HRIS-related issues, providing user support for HR and payroll staff.

Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the HRIS system, providing insights into workforce metrics such as headcount, turnover, retention, and compensation analysis.
- Collaborate with the Director of Workforce Analytics to provide data-driven insights for workforce planning, recruitment, and payroll analysis.
- Develop custom reports and dashboards to track key HR performance indicators and support senior leadership decision-making.

Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for improving HR processes through system automation and enhancements, working closely with HR and payroll teams.
- Document and maintain HRIS processes, user guides, and procedures to ensure consistent use of the system across the organization.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and external vendors to manage system integrations and ensure the HRIS aligns with broader business technology initiatives.

Compliance & Security:
- Ensure that the HRIS complies with applicable data protection laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal data security policies.
- Support compliance reporting, including EEO, FLSA, ACA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement best practices for HRIS usage and data management
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies
Required Skills/Abilities:

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Superior Excel skills

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, payroll, and similar employee management software. Prefer 3 – 5 years of experience with ADP WFN
Education and Experience:
- Associates or bachelor’s degree with coursework focusing on Human Resources, Business Management, Accounting or Data Analytics with 2+ years of experience managing an HRIS system OR
- Any appropriate combination of education and experience
- ADP Workforce Now experience is preferred; comparable HRIS system experience is required
