We are seeking an HRIS/Payroll Clerk to join our team, committed to delivering outstanding service to our employees. As an HRIS/Payroll Clerk, you will perform HRIS functions with a high level of detail, and process data entry requests of all new hires, rehires, department and company transfers, terminations, and employee changes into the HRIS system. What you'll do:
- Provide HRIS support to People Operations leaders and business unit managers.
- Timely and accurately retrieve, open, and save all transaction forms daily.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system.
- Audit any changes entered for accuracy and compliance with Federal, State and Local laws as well as Buckner International policies and procedures.
- Identify communications that may impact compliance with the Affordable Care Act and notify leadership of any issues.
- Assist payroll with HRIS data integrity and accuracy for transactions entered into system.
- Assist in managing regular preparation of relevant management reports.
- Prepare and audit data for prior to submitting it for final audit.
- Assist employees in finding information about their pay and benefits.
- Maintain confidentiality of all HRIS data.
What you’ll bring:
- A general understanding of business principles related to payroll and employment law and regulatory requirements as evidenced by prior work experience in a related field. At least one year of experience processing data/data entry required.
- Prior related experience processing data in an HRIS system preferred.
- Prior experience using ADP Vantage HCM a plus.
- Must possess current working knowledge of federal and state payroll and employment laws and maintain current on laws in the states where each corporation operates.
- Working knowledge of Affordable Care Act a plus.
- Mathematical aptitude, analysis skills and ability to communicate such orally and in writing.
- Ability to work independently and remotely.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to drive assigned vehicle(s) or personal vehicle, with appropriate state license, following all laws applicable; must provide proof of liability insurance and must be eligible to be insured under Buckner’s insurance policy. Must be age 21 or older to drive on behalf of Buckner.
