We are seeking an experienced HR BP to join our fast-growing international company in the UK and Ireland (100+ employees in 3 locations), with functional responsibility over the Life Sciences P&L in Europe.

You are responsible for partnering with the functional/organizational leaders in the design and delivery of the people strategy to support the business strategy to deliver the growth, simplification and quality goals of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Has total HR responsibility and oversight for +100 professionals in the UK and Ireland
  • Acting as a trusted business partner for line managers on all HR matters, who is an employee advocate, leadership coach and who is not afraid to deliver the tough message.
  • Responsive business partner and resource to the leadership team in the region.
  • HR Expert you will be driving simple, compliant, leading-edge HR processes, in collaboration with our Centers of Expertise. Anticipating the need for automation and simplification.
  • Partners with the organization leaders to ensure the HR agenda you anticipate both business and customer needs and deliver that agenda flawlessly.
  • You are responsible for leading HR operating rhythms in Portugal and across the region as necessary.
  • You will manage all HR operational tasks and payroll via available resources (e.g. HR Services, etc).
  • You are a Talent Champion, who can attract, develop, engage and retain talent across the geography.
  • You create and execute robust staffing plans, pipeline development, succession planning and employee development initiatives, working closely with other HRbusiness partners across Acolad group.
  • You consult with client organization's management in aligning performance management and reward recommendations; functions as a strategic advisor and analytical resource that has the ability to translate theory into actionable results.
  • You will also be working on global projects. These projects are focused in advancing and optimizing the HR team’s ways of working, supporting execution, design, implementation, and accelerated adoption of innovative HR process enhancement and change initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with labor regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role - a seasoned HR professional with experience of working across cultures and geographies within a fast-paced organization.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and Ireland employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience in payroll administration.
  • Proficiency in SAP or other HR systems.
  • Experience working and communicating effectively in a global environment with people at all organizational levels
  • Prior experience in leading employee base through change.
  • Prior experience leading all HR operating rhythms such as performance management, organization design, salary planning, creating plans based on opinion surveys and employee relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can work effectively at all levels.
  • Driven, responsive, enthusiastic, and confident.
  • Approachable, and reliable and able to work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
