HR Shared Service Administrator - 6 months Fixed Term Contract

Working in the People Services team is a fantastic opportunity to impact the employee experience at abcam, while learning all about HR technology, policies and practices. It is the ideal progression route into a broader HR career. You will join a friendly yet highly professional team who support our colleagues globally.

  • Proactively pick up and manage tickets from employees via the HR ticket system (Service Now) within agreed SLAs
  • Continuously update FAQs to ensure prompt and complete response to employee queries
  • Assist with day to day HR policy and process queries – ensuring employees are administered in line with their contracts and abcam responsibilities
  • Responsible for payroll input on a team rota basis
  • Schedule interviews supporting Talent Acquisition Partners globally
  • Assisting key stakeholders within the wider HR team with administrative tasks (Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, People Experience, Talent Acquisition)
  • Processing, filing and distribution of confidential reports and documents
  • Constantly connecting with our customers to better understand how to support them and drive processes/experience improvement.
  • Schedule and coordinate induction sessions for onboarding new abcam employees
  • Support wider HR team with coordination of training sessions
  • Support project delivery across the wider Human Resources function

You can communicate with people at all levels confidently and professionally. You have a proactive outlook with a learning mindset. You are organised and methodical, determined and see things through to completion. You are tech savvy and PC literate – competent user of Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
