Department & Position Overview:  

The People Team Platforms Lead will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing Civica’s HR technology platforms. This role will ensure that HR systems are effectively implemented, maintained, and leveraged to support HR processes and strategies. The ideal candidate is a tech-savvy HR professional with strong project management skills and a deep understanding of HR technologies. 

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and maintenance of HR technology platforms, including HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other HR-related systems. 
  • Continuously evaluate and improve HR systems to ensure they meet the evolving needs of the organization. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. 
  • Ensure seamless integration between different HR systems and other business applications to streamline processes and improve data accuracy. 
  • Manage relationships with HR technology vendors, ensuring high-quality service delivery and support. Negotiate contracts and manage vendor performance. 
  • Provide support and training to HR team members and other stakeholders on the effective use of HR systems. Troubleshoot system issues and ensure timely resolution. 
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of HR data across all platforms. Implement and maintain data protection measures in compliance with relevant regulations. 
  • Lead HR technology projects, including system upgrades, new implementations, and process enhancements. Develop project plans, coordinate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. 
  • Collaborate with the HR analytics team to ensure HR systems provide accurate and timely data for reporting and analysis. Support the development of dashboards and other analytical tools. 
  • Work closely with HR leaders, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective HR technology solutions. 
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and innovations in HR technology. Evaluate new tools and solutions that could benefit the organization and lead their implementation where appropriate. 

Requirements

Essential Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in HR technology platforms and systems. 
  • Proficiency in managing HRIS, ATS, LMS, and other HR-related systems. 
  • Configuration skills in platforms such as Workday 
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Knowledge of data security and data protection regulations.
