HR Operations Shared Services Supervisor

Cortica is looking for a HR Operations Shared Services Supervisor to join our growing team!  

In this highly collaborative role, you will oversee the creation, implementation and administration of operational processes associated with the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes and notifications, offboarding, and general inquiries. This position ensures daily operations run smoothly and processes are compliant, consistent, timely, and efficient, contributing to the development and improvement of HR processes and procedures. You will also concurrently complete these processes and procedures as team staffing and transaction volume demand.

What will you do? 

    • Lead the implementation, administration and auditing of HR processes 
    • Manage HR Operations team members, providing leadership and guidance to HR Operations teammates 
    • Identify processes for improvement in service of our employees 
    • Oversee documentation of HR procedures and employee knowledge base 
    • Maintain and report on HR Operations Key Performance Indicators 
    • Manage HR Ticketing System and ensure timely, accurate, customer service-oriented responses 
    • Participate in implementing department goals, objectives and systems 
    • Monitor HR Operations work quality and accuracy, providing coaching and feedback to direct reports 
    • Develop and deliver HR trainings for HR Operations team, employees and managers 
    • Other projects as assigned  

We’d love to hear from you if:  

    • Passion for building something new and operating in an environment that is fluid and entrepreneurial 
    • 5 years of HR experience with knowledge of operational HR 
    • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience 
    • Knowledge of current rules, regulations, laws, principles and practices related to HR records and HRIS administration 
    • Working knowledge of employment law (federal, state, and local), employment legislation, and compliance 
    • Ability to measure performance through analytics and transform the results into actionable plans 
    • Strong relationship management, judgement, and leadership skills, with the ability to work on both departmental and cross-functional projects 
    • Customer service-oriented – driven to find the best solution for everyone 
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, delivering both good and bad news in a professional, compassionate manner 
    • Advanced Excel skills 
    • Outstanding organizational skills with strong attention to detail 
    • Self-starter who can work reliably in a remote setting, managing resources with little direction 
    • Uphold professionalism and trustworthiness in dealing with sensitive and confidential information 
    • An eye for process improvement, taking whatever is given and making it better than when you started

The base pay range for this opening is $68,347.83 to $88,852.17 annually. According to your skill level, relevant experience, education level, and location, you will receive compensation that fits appropriately within the range.
