Consider your day-to-day responsibilities in this role:
Employee Records Management:
Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with inquiries related to benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Support the administration of employee benefit programs and ensure timely enrollment and communication.
HR Policies and Procedures:
- Communicate HR policies and procedures to employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and guidelines.
Compliance:
- Mitigate risk to the organization and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of reports related to HR metrics and compliance.
- Assist with applicable HR-related audits.
- Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and confidentiality of employee information.
HR Software and Systems:
- Utilize HR software and systems to manage employee data and generate reports.
- Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of HR technology ensuring an enhanced user experience for our employees and managers.
- Enhance the utilization and employee experience through the HR tech stack alongside the HR Business Partners.
Some of the qualifications and skills we are expecting include the following
- Bachelor’s Degree required with a major in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Preferred 3-5 years of experience in an HR role
- SHRM or HRCI preferred
- Knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws
- Strong organizational and communication skills – both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
- Experience utilizing an HRIS system
- Experience with integrating and ensuring connectivity between HR systems
- Resourceful and a self-starter
