Job Overview:

The HR Officer at Dangote Cement PLC plays a crucial role in managing human resources functions and ensuring a positive workplace environment. In this role, you will support various HR initiatives including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management. You will also be responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with payroll activities, and facilitating employee training and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing HR policies and procedures that align with company goals.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and files, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
  • Support the performance management process by tracking employee performance reviews and implementing training programs.
  • Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other work-related issues.
  • Assist with payroll and benefits administration as needed.
  • Organize employee engagement activities and training sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
  • Proficient in HR software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
