About the Job: 

Digital.ai is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager for our North American team. Reporting to our Global Head of Talent, this role will partner with the North American and global Human Resources teams to foster a positive and compliant employee experience, while overseeing all aspects of the North American HR function. You will work closely with other global HR leaders, as well as senior leadership across the organization. This is an IC position with the potential to grow into a people manager in future.

What You Will Do:

Human Resources:

  • Collaborate with our Global HR Team to cultivate a world class employee experience, in compliance with NA labor laws and regulations.
  • Design and develop a strategic approach to HR Management in alignment with Digital.ai’s organizational goals and objectives.
  • Engage with North American teams as the first point of contact for all manager and employee HR questions and concerns.
  • Create, review, update, and implement compliant HR policies and processes, ensuring clarity and effectiveness.
  • Team up with Payroll and other HR functions to ensure smooth and accurate processes. Review payroll for accuracy and address any discrepancies.
  • Conduct audits and stay abreast of HR trends and best practices. Partner with compliance to represent HR in ISO, SOC and other audits.
  • Develop and deliver clear and informative HR communication strategies to keep employees informed.
  • Work with our Talent Acquisition Team to build Digital.ai’s employer brand across job boards and respond to Glassdoor requests in a timely manner.
  • Take on HR projects and tasks as needed across a variety of topics and initiatives.

Employee Relations:

  • Manage employee relations issues for North America, ensuring a fair, consistent and legally compliant approach. Consult with labor attorneys as needed.
  • Partner with managers across North America to provide guidance on HR matters and support employee relations efforts.
  • Support managers through the annual performance review process to encourage effective and timely feedback to their teams.
  • Oversee offboarding activities, ensuring return of company equipment, liaising with IT on disabling access and ensuring final payments are legally compliant and per any existing HR agreements.

 

 What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. PHR/ SPHR is a plus
  • 5+ years experience in a generalist Human Resources role
  • Comprehensive understanding of US and Canadian employment laws and regulations
  • Proven experience in employee relations, policy development, performance management, and HR compliance
  • Strong communicator who can connect with employees at all levels
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented with an eye for compliance and accuracy
  • Adept at juggling multiple priorities
  • Located in the US

The current base salary range for this specific job is estimated to be between $100,000 - $130,000. Please note that final compensation will be determined based on factors such as qualifications, experience, and internal equity. We value transparency and aim to create an inclusive and equitable workplace for all our employees. Certain positions at Digital.ai might also be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses, or other employee benefits which are separate from the base salary and to be defined at offer stage.
