We are actively looking for a HR Manager to join our team in Ballymahon, Longford. This is an exciting opportunity which will take charge of the People Agenda at our siteand successfully execute our organizational strategy to establish Kepak as an exceptional workplace.
The HR Manager will report to the HR Director.
ROLE LOCATION (Hybrid):
After an initial period of 6months, Our Smart Working Policy allows for 2 days working from home and 3 days site based (subject to the needs of the business).
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and implement a site HR strategy that fully supports the management team in achieving its business objectives.
- Deliver a top-notch HR service that ensures a superior employee experience throughout the employee life cycle, from recruitment to reward and recognition.
- Ensure the implementation of Group policies and procedures based on best practices.
- Be a driving force for performance management, working closely with the management team to instill a culture of high performance and talent development at the site.
- Oversee the training function, ensuring that all training and development needs are met with customized plans that enhance the capabilities and performance of our workforce to support site goals.
- Play an integral role in the Group HR team, contributing to the development and implementation of people initiatives.
- Support the site management team in strategic workforce planning, identifying risks and opportunities, assessing future skills requirements, and developing solutions to achieve organizational goals.
- Coach and develop the site management team to strengthen their people management skills and drive productivity, engagement, and inclusivity.
- Lead the site HR team in delivering an exceptional HR service, while fostering professional growth and progression within the function.
- Provide the site management team with relevant and timely people metrics that offer valuable insights, improve communication, and drive performance.
- Promote the Kepak Values on site, embodying our winning ambition to create an outstanding workplace.
ROLE DELIVERABLES:
- A site People plan aligned with business goals and the Group People strategy
- A site Training plan which is reflective of the needs of the business
- A positive culture, which is inclusive and respectful of all employees
Requirements
- A Third Level HR Qualification or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of HR experience, with a strong background in various HR generalist functions
- Proven experience in the food production, manufacturing, or related industry
