About the role
1. HR Planning and Framework Development
- Oversee full HR functions with the objectives of attracting, developing, motivating and retaining talents to align with business strategy and best practices
- Plan and review yearly compensation and benefits programs including annual salary review, budgeting and salary survey
- Drive BU's HR activities: strategic workforce planning, local recruitment, org design, change management, performance management, people development, succession planning, hi-po development, off-boarding, compliance with HR policies
- Propose, formulate and implement HR frameworks and initiatives in support of the business growth and organisational transformation initiatives alongside North Asia HR
2. Senior Management Business Partnership Support
- Provide professional guidance and coaching to the senior management team in handling HR-related issues in their respective divisions/departments
- Ensure all HR activities at BU level are aligned and in compliance with HR policies
- Manage and cultivate HR Business Partner relationship with BUs, connecting managers and employees with appropriate HR resources
3. Business HR Operations Lead and Team Management
- Develop and implement HR policies, practices and employment contracts and programs whilst ensuring local laws compliance
- Manage local benefits in accordance with local governance, and ensure labour and wage law practices are accurately applied
- Execute required due diligence and integration activities related to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
- Manage local temporary staff hiring and contract management in collaboration with the HR executive
- Oversee the HR team's resourcing, scope of work, compliance and objectives
- Lead, coach and develop HR team members for operational excellence and work engagement
4. Reporting
- Review monthly Flash report for HR and Payroll
- Complete all regional reports prior to deadlines
- Complete all HR reporting as required
- Complete any reporting as requested by Bollore management in a timely and professional manner
5. Administration
- Supervise day-to-day administrative operations to maintain and reinforce good communication with all stakeholders and employees
- Plan and coordinate administrative procedures, activities and processes
- Monitor inventory of office supplies, ensure purchasing is within budget and control overhead expenses
Requirements
Essential
- At least 3 years of experience in a HR business partnering role in a fast paced multicultural MNC environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR/Business
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Taiwanese labour laws and regulations
- Strong leadership skills
- Able to prioritise and delegate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
Desirable
- Knowledge of Logistics/Transportation and/or Supply Chain industry will be an added advantage
